  Ken Urquhart

  Dr. Urquhart grew up in Birmingham, Alabama and attended Birmingham Southern College for his undergraduate education. His medical degree was obtained from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He then completed a full five year general surgery residency at The Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia and subsequently became Board Certified by the American Board of Surgery. After completing his general surgery residency, he completed a full plastic surgery residency at the University of Tennessee in Chattanooga where he underwent extensive training in not only cosmetic surgery, but surgery of the hand, facial trauma, burns, and major reconstruction.  He is now board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.

  Angel Farinas

  Dr. Farinas specializes in the full spectrum of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. His patient-centric approach and genuine, warm, caring demeanor have afforded his patients a great level of comfort while navigating through their surgical journey.  Born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela, and son of a plastic surgeon; Dr. Farinas obtained his medical degree at Universidad Central de Venezuela. After medical school, he came to the United States and completed his general surgery training at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, Ohio. He practiced as a General Surgeon around the Atlanta area to obtain his permanent residency in this country. During this time, he acted as Associate Professor of Augusta University and PCOM medical school.  In 2015, he was nominated as Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. After this, he focused his career into research at Vanderbilt University. He continued his training and completed his clinical fellowship in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Oklahoma University. He is fluent in Spanish and English. He is very excited to bring his expertise to our area, giving elite and personalized care to his patients.
